Hi Guys,
It’s been a very busy few months on the bike even though the weather has not been what we would normally expect to see for spring.
I have managed to catch up with plenty of bikers from all across the area on various rides over the last few months and it was great to get down to the Harley demo day in Mt Gambier a few weeks back. I managed to catch up with a few familiar faces as well as being able to meet a couple of new owners as well. The Harley Davidson brand is obviously very popular down in the South East with many people turning up to demo one bike or another. It would be great to catch up with a few of the owners down there for a guided tour around the area some time in 2017.
Just last weekend I managed to get onto my first Toy Run to raise funds for the local Salvation Army Christmas appeal. There were plenty of bikes of all shapes and sizes that turned up to help raise funds for this good cause and it was a great feeling to have the red & blue flashing lights out in front of us for a change. Once again this was a great opportunity to catch up with people that I had not seen for quite some time.
The following poker run and Christmas party were also well attended with a few new faces joining in the fun. It is great to see more Harley owners getting involved in our local chapter events – as they say the more the merrier!
If you would like any information about upcoming chapter events or memberships, please do not hesitate to contact me. It would be great to get you and your bike involved in the fun & socialising that we all enjoy.
I look forward to catching up with more Harley owners in the not too distant future whether it be at the Horsham Demo Day on December 3rd or any other events we have planned.
Hope to see you and your bike very soon.
Regards,
